The Hoopsfix All Star Classic is a yearly showcase of British basketball talent and culture. My role on the team was to plan and produce social content and manage the community on event-day, ensuring that we amplify the event far beyond the ~ 500 people in attendance and reach as many basketball fans as possible.
Using carefully planned content and an influencer strategy which involved some of the most well-respected and followed influencers in British Basketball, we reached just short of 350,000 accounts (and had over 2.3m impressions!) on Twitter, 22,603 people on Facebook, had 18,184 loops on Vine, and over 10,000 views on YouTube as well as generating 1,758 likes on Instagram and 175 mentions of the event hashtag.
